[OOC: this is also backdated to around Hojo's entrance, before the tied-up virus]

It feels strange being here - then again, it feels strange to be anywhere other than Hyrule or Gaia, but if this is what I must do, then so be it.

Nonetheless, I can't help but worry.

Apollo, you're right. This is a lovely place, indeed. I just wish I was here under better circumstances than these.

[Locked to Vincent]
Rufus offered to take me in for the time being, so I am in Italy, on the planet Earth now. I know you intended to send me home, but...I hope you're not too upset with me. I'm keeping watch over Dark, and Dark is watching over me, at least until everything has blown over on Gaia.

I know you're more than capable of defeating Hojo but still...be careful. I love you.

It didn't quite hit Nabooru until after she'd somewhat planned this entire outing that she didn't know who to look for. Sure, she and Apollo had spoken numerous times via the community and journals, but never in person. This would be the first time they met face-to-face.

She shook her head, turning away from the window, and went to the couch, picking up the spread of paperwork. It was a mixture of her own and Vincent's, though he had yet to pick up on his roommate's own research - the file Rufus had sent her however, was hidden underneath the couch. No need to let him know that she had that, though if Rufus had wanted to make her think Vincent was an abomination, he'd failed spectacularly.

It was still a bit chilly outside, and Nabooru was now fully dressed - she usually took to lounging around the place in one of his dress shirts when she was by herself. Picking up her white cloak, Nabooru pulled the hood over her head, and then on a whim brought her lute along as well.

There was no need to lock up; she walked down the steps of the building, then seated herself on the grass cross-legged, plucking carefully at the lute as she waited for Apollo's arrival. She knew he liked music; perhaps this would make it easier for him to find her.

[ooc: gotta run and babysit now; I'll tag back when I return! ♥]

Hn. I can't help but think that this entire...debacle, for lack of a better term, is all my fault. I mean, I know it is, partially, but I wasn't anticipating a complete regression.

Not to mention the files Rufus sent over - weird little thing, this fax machine, but quite helpful - are interesting as well. I'd only been told a tiny amount of what's written here, but now, seeing it all...

I should go home. But I can't. And truth be told, I don't want to.

Perhaps if I - but that would be too selfish. Yet it would probably ease everything, return it to the way it once was...I haven't grown very attached to it, though that may be because I've never been in this type of situation before.

I suppose all I can do is remain here, wait it out, and hope it runs its course.

...here goes...

Dear Goddesses...what's going on...

Vincent? I ah...have something I need to tell you. As soon as possible, please.
[Ready for a new sensation]
They'd arrived. Without a sound or anything to announce themselves; it was just Nabooru's intuition. They'd come, just as she'd requested of them.

She went to rise from the bed and paused, a faint blush crossing her cheeks. It was still the middle of the night, and...she glanced over at Vincent. He still slept, unmoving save for the rise and fall of his chest. They were both thankful for the virus's passing, but now with her own apparent illness, Nabooru hadn't been ready to return home. Hence, she had requested their visit to Gaia rather than wait anxiously. It ached enough that she needed to hide this from him - after everything he'd been through - but there was no need to bring more stress upon their lives until it was absolutely certain.

A faint cough. They were growing impatient.

Pushing the blankets aside, Nabooru pulled a robe on over herself, cinching it tightly, and looked back over at Vincent; leaning over the bed, she dusted a soft kiss on his cheek, then left the bedroom, pulling the door shut behind her. Turning to her guests, she bowed politely.

Three forms stood in the living room, each adorned by a full-length cloak of their respective colours - red, blue, green. The cloaks were cast aside at the same time, revealing the forms of the Goddesses of Hyrule. Din, clothed in scarlet, closely resembling a Gerudo herself, eyed Nabooru with a knowing smirk, an eyebrow arched; Farore, draped in jade robes resembling a Roman toga, arms folded under her breasts, sword buckled to her hip, a soft smile on her lips; Nayru, adorned in a simple sapphire gown, her youthful form and big cerulean eyes masking centuries of wisdom, grinning girlishly.

Sighing to herself, Nabooru strode out of the temple's entrance, hands clasped loosely behind her back as she walked over to the springs just east of the temple. Reisen had left the Fortress only moments earlier - Sajado had come to let the Queen know - and now Nabooru had ordered to be left alone at the Spirit Temple...the Desert Colossus, as others referred to it.

Since it was sunset, the faeries were still flittering about, and Nabooru knelt at the spring's bank, stretching a hand out. Thankfully, these faeries weren't loudmouths like Navi; rather, they stayed silent but were readily available to heal wounds should one need it.

A soft laugh as one faerie decided to perch on the Gerudo's hand; she stood up slowly, watching the tiny being flit around in her palm, occasionally glancing toward the stone platform before the Temple, as she'd promised to wait outside for him.

Since I've been told by people on this community that Wi-ki-pedia is a good place to look up information, I decided to see just what this whole Valentine's Day holiday is all about.

Let's see now...Wi-ki-pedia says, "Valentine's Day is a holiday celebrated on February 14. It is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other; sending Valentine's cards, or offering candy. It is very common to present flowers on Valentine's Day."

Interesting...

A day for lovers.

Someone please get it through that Achmed's thick skull that I'm not his virgin certainly not a virgin anymore at least, nor is my name 20.

I highly doubt any of the other people he has listed as "his virgins" are very tolerable of this, either. I swear, Stalfos have more brains than Achmed, and that's giving Stalfos a lot of credit.

...at least the spirit of that treasonous fool has vanished. Thank the Goddesses for that. The Poes are still frantic, but I'm sure they'll calm down eventually.

These food-related memes seem to be quite the craze lately. Anything to take our minds off of reality for a bit, hn?

What Flavour Are You? Tomato is what I taste like.Tomato is what I taste like.

I taste like nothing, except a tomato. I'm sometimes sweet and sometimes tart; sometimes juicy, sometimes crisp. The roles of a tomato are many and varied. I am an exception to all the rules. What Flavour Are You?

Knowledge is POWAH )

Due to Nabooru getting absolutely NO backstory in Ocarina of Time, this consists almost entirely of head-canon and DDD happenings. I have her entire history thought out for her, because Nintendo fails like that.

We killed his demonic form. I helped seal him away.

I saw him banished, locked within the Sacred Realm.

So why is it now I keep feeling his eyes on me?

I keep turning around, expecting to be ambushed, to see his conniving grin, and hear his maniacal laughter.

I'm at my wit's end.

By the Goddesses...if it is true...why would he be allowed to return?

[[She thinks Ganondorf's returned, and will be paranoid for awhile]]

Nabooru was returning from the horseback archery range, having gone up there to stave off her boredom, when a strange light struck the entrance to the Fortress. It wasn't long before she heard shouts, and she jogged down the path to see several sisters blocking the entrance, weapons drawn - it was then that Nabooru remembered that even though she had told the sisters what the visitor's name was, none of them knew what he looked like.

Shaking her head, a hand ready to draw her own scimitar if it was necessary, the Gerudo Queen made her way through the crowd.
